Pictures from Egypt (flag)

I've been asked to talk about Egypt.  This is hard.  After 7000 years of Egypt, you can't say very much in 1.5 hours.  So, let's run through some basic facts that you may not be fully aware of:
Let's start by making sure you have everything in prespective:
    1) The sphynx is pretty big, and
    2) The pyramids are REALLY big.
I never realized that there were so much pretty wildlife in Egypt
    1) Of course, would you could you have guessed?!
    2) Lot's of birds:  beeeaters, falcons, flamingo, ibis + +,
                        kingfishers, and sunbirds.
    3) I didn't even know it was called a caracal.

(On April 18th/2002, Muharrem Karakaya explained to me that caracal in Turkish is blackear. Black=KARA and ear=KULAK. The picture supports his claim!)

    4) What's a fennecs?!
    5) Don't be one of these guys!
    6) What is this or this form of wildlife called?
"The Usual"
    1) King Tut: his mask, his spear, his coffin :)
    2) The Romans left some theatres
    3) The Arabs left Qaitbay
Finally, here is my recipe for "Ultimate Falafael"
    1) Locate Egypt (N.B.  It ain't in no California)
    2) Locate Alexandria
    3) Locate Anfushi
    4) Locate Eastern Harbour
    5) Locate Mohamad Ahmad
    6) Locate Saad Zaghlould statue
    7) Sit under Saad Zaghloul statue
    8) Stare at the sea
    9) Enjoy! :)
